9/24/2016 0 Comments Dream of JesusBack when I was hairdressing I woke up to an amazing dream.
At the start of the dream Neil and I were walking in a mall. A man came up beside me and wanted something. I put him off and kept walking. He came up beside me again and looked like he wanted my attention again. Again I kept walking. Then I said to Neil that I was going to go and follow the man. I followed him into another corridor. He stopped walking, turned to me and said, “It would be you who would come and follow me.” I turned and put my purse on a little ledge and when I turned around to see a tall strong man. I couldn’t see his face but I saw lots of white behind and around him. I couldn’t tell whether it was white robes or white wings. I saw his hair and I realized that it was Jesus. I began to cry. He wrapped His arms around me and I cried harder. He was speaking. I began to make out a few words. He was speaking scripture verses but I couldn’t connect with what they were. All I could hear were the thoughts that were going through my head. All wrong thoughts, some that I wrestled with daily. Then I felt Jesus put His hand on my shoulder and I felt healing go into me. His hug loosened and I turned to look at my purse. There were white cards with red and orange on them, they looked like monopoly cards. I was concerned because ladies were looking in my purse. When I turned around again Jesus was gone and the other man was standing there again. He said “All you really need to know is that Jesus is alive.” That was when I woke up. Why had I looked at my purse and those ladies and what did the cards mean. It wasn’t the only time those cards were used to show me something. I recognized that I was more concerned with my purse than I should have been. This was Jesus in front of me, I wished I had given Him my complete attention. I knew right then that the monopoly cards depicted the world’s financial system and how I was reliant on it and my work to take care of my family and myself. I was more concerned with them than living in God’s plan for me. That was true. I thought I had to look after all of that. I didn’t trust that He would take care of my family as good as I could. By this time I had had some specific financial lessons from God and I will share them in the future. I had also heard the scriptures written below and had started to live that way but didn’t fully trust for all of our needs to be met by Him. The verses tell of how God wants us to trust Him for our needs. Not that he doesn’t want some of us to work, but first and foremost He wants us to trust Him in everything. He wants to guide us into what he wants us to be doing and will financially look after us as we do His will. He can also help us to get out of debt in amazing ways. Our job is to learn His ways and follow them and then we will be set free. The best way to do this is to look up all of the prosperity scriptures and read some everyday as well as listen to teachings on the subject. There is a caution here. Don’t let money be more important than God. Always put God first and let Him look after your finances. I will also share in the future of how I turned the corner and began to trust God fully for my financial needs. Matthew 6:25-31 (NIV) 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ Luke 6:38(NKJV) 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Psalm 35:27 (NKJV) Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” 1 John 5:14-15(NKJV) Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. Malachi 3:10 (NKJV) Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.
